As Gender Equality is one of the main objectives of PlayOnside, and we continue to promote girls participation, it is important with young female role-models for the kids. Thus, we try to find a good gender balance also within the organization. This has been more difficult than expected, as there is not a lot of older girls with the confidence and experience to coach. To face this challenge, we have started football training for young local girls. Our first female staff is Naw Laura Htway. 

Laura has been working with PlayOnside since October 2017, and is already an important member of the organization, with coaching responsibility three different girls teams, and our StarFlower team, a mixed-gender team with children of different disabilities.
